Well it turns out that the creator of Ziphone (Piergiorgio Zambrini) discovered a bug with the iPhone that causes the phone's operating system to crash when playing a specially-created video. This bug affects the audio track of the video, which in return kills the operating system on the iPhone.
Zambrini said that the bug doesn't damage the iPhone internally, and he's waiting to contact Apple's security response team. An Apple spokesman was informed of this bug, from Forbes.com, and they're still waiting for a comment?!
It's pretty obvious that Zambrini can't stay away from the (iPhone spotlight), even though he's raking in $10,000 a day from Ziphone, and $4000 a month from ad's on his site. He even e-mailed Steve Jobs about the situation, and put in an application at the same time, but hasn't heard anything from Apple as of yet.
I thought it was funny that he goes and throws this *error* in Apple's face, and then ask's for employment... YEAH RIGHT?!?!
Forbes.com now says that he's not trying to work for Apple, but rather, continue on his iPhone unlocking tool!!!
You never know who's going to get in the spotlight next??
